Program Design & Facilitation
Thoughtfully designed learning experiences rooted in reflection, wellbeing, connection, and meaningful participation.
Maybe you’re designing a week-long learning experience for students, looking to create a more intentional company retreat, bringing a new wellness program to your team, or imagining a two-hour workshop on mindfulness, leadership, or connection.
Whatever the format, I’m interested in what happens when we move beyond simply delivering content and start thinking intentionally about the whole journey: what participants are being invited into, how they will learn, who they will learn with, and what they might carry with them afterwards.
I work with schools, organisations, and communities to design experiences that are reflective, practical, immersive, and grounded in human connection. Sometimes that means designing the full journey from the ground up. Sometimes it means helping you shape an idea you already have. And sometimes it means stepping in to facilitate the experience itself.
Learning that is reflective, practical, and immersive
I believe some of the most meaningful learning happens when we have the opportunity to experience something, reflect on it, connect it to our own lives, and then try something new.
My approach brings together thoughtful structure with space for curiosity and emergence. I consider the content, activities, facilitation, physical environment, group dynamics, and relationships between participants as part of the learning experience.
Depending on the context, this might include:
Reflection and dialogue
Somatic and mindfulness practices
Experiential and project-based learning
Community engagement
Nature-based learning
Storytelling and creative practice
Peer learning and collaboration
Real-world exploration and immersion
Opportunities to experiment, make, and learn through doing
Some of my work
Travel & Global Education
I have facilitated travel education experiences for high school students that use travel as an opportunity for deeper learning - not simply seeing new places, but developing curiosity, cultural awareness, reflection, and a greater understanding of our relationship to the world around us.
Across different contexts and countries, I have facilitated learning rooted in local communities, environmental sustainability, and cultural heritage - from exploring community and culture in Northern Thailand, to environmental sustainability in Ecuador, and heritage leadership in Rwanda.
Community-Connected School Programs
I have designed school programs for students in Grades 6–10 that intentionally connect young people with local communities.
Rather than learning about a place from a distance, students are invited to engage with people and organisations in the community, ask questions, listen to different perspectives, and consider their own role within the places they live and learn.
These experiences have explored themes of community, global citizenship, identity, leadership, and social responsibility.
Entrepreneurship & Youth Leadership
Through my work with League of Innovators, I designed and facilitated entrepreneurship bootcamps for young people interested in exploring entrepreneurship, developing ideas, and building the skills and confidence to bring them to life.
I also helped design a national volunteer program in Canada, supporting a network of local “connectors” who created and hosted their own entrepreneurship events in their communities.
These experiences taught me a lot about designing communities with scale in mind while still leaving room for local ownership, relationships, and context.
Company Retreats & Team Experiences
I have supported non-profits and social enterprises in designing and facilitating company retreats that create space for both strategy and connection.
These experiences balance time to step back and think about the work, reflecting on priorities, challenges, and what’s ahead along with opportunities for teams to connect, build relationships, and spend time together outside their usual working rhythms.
I’m interested in creating retreats that are purposeful, and where meaningful conversation, reflection, and connection have as much place as strategy and planning.
How we could collaborate
Every program starts with listening.
If you are designing a program or workshop and want to work through an intentional process to create a learning experience that is reflective, practical, and immersive, I’d love to chat.
I can support you with the process from early ideas through to delivery—from understanding your goals and participants, to shaping the learning journey, designing activities and experiences, developing facilitation plans, and facilitating the program itself if that feels aligned.
I’m particularly interested in working with people and organisations who want to create learning experiences that are not only thoughtful and well-designed, but also human.
Whether you have a clear brief or simply a question you are sitting with, we can start there.
